DESCRIPTION:Offered here is a scarce hard to find early circa 1900s Antique Knights Templar Masonic \"In Hoc Signo Vinces\" Large Star Sash Medallion. \"In Hoc Signo Vinces\" is a motto meaning \"In this sign you will conquer.\" And is the motto of the Knights Templar, top of the York Rite of the Masonic Order.This medallion measures 3 3/4\". There is some wear to the silver plating on the metal. The center cross still has all of the original red flocking. All of the sharp prongs are intact on the back of the medallion to fasten to a sash. A very nice early medallion to add to any Masonic collection.
