Incredible and unusually large antique Navajo Yei wool weaving.
Measures approximately 82 inches on the long side and 52 inches on the short side.
Beautiful earth tones throughout, and good strong colors on both sides.
This antique rug shows some honest wear—frays, holes, and stains are present. I used a brightly colored golf ball to show scale.
The weave is of good quality and is very structurally sound. This rug can be folded, rolled, picked up by hand, hung up, or laid down without issue, but of course should be handled with care.
Rug will be folded and packed in a box for shipment, and wrapped in a plastic bag for extra weatherproofing during shipping.
Will be shipped free, fully insured, and with signature confirmation.
Overall, an incredible and very rare LARGE example of 20th century Navajo craftsmanship. Being in Oklahoma, I’ve seen and owned my share of beautiful Native American rugs, and I believe this one is really in its own league.
