Up for offers is this Large Antique c. 1900 Chalkware Cigar Store Advertising Hiawatha Indian Bust. He stands 20" high, 12 1/2" in width, and 11" in depth.

Busts like this one would sit on the counters and in the windows of cigar stores for advertising.

The name Hiawatha is across the front of the bust and there is the number 207 on the back which was probably the mold number. This bust depicts Hiawatha with long hair and wearing a bunch of trade jewelery with bear claws danging off. He has a blue and red shawl wrapped around him.

Condition is very good with some minor wear to the original paint that resembles bronze with muted blue and red tones and one or two very small shallow chips.
