Up for sale is an OUTSTANDING large Dresden Figurine of a mother reading reading to her children. This beautiful piece stands approximately 7 inches tall and an impressive 10 inches wide. This stunning piece was produced in western Germany. The mother and girl are seated on a victorian settee. It is blue and yellow stripped with a quilted look back. The mother is wearing a gorgeous gown with a pink applied porcelain lace skirt with a white under skirt with painted flowers. Her gown has a white bodice with applied porcelain lace ruffled neckline and sleeves. She is wearing colored feathers in her hair. The little girl is wearing a beautiful gown made entirely of white applied porcelain lace with pink porcelain ruffles on the bottom, neckline and sleeves. She has a pink bow in her hair. The boy is standing beside the settee looking on. He is handsomely dressed in black pants and a green coat. He has applied porcelain lace ruffles on his sleeves and an ascot. They all have PERFECT OUTSTRETCHED FINGERS. They are on a white base with gold scrolling accents. There are also several applied porcelain flowers on base. The Dresden crown mark is on the bottom with made in Western Germany. This OUTSTANDING piece is from my mom\'s private collection and as far as I can see is in PERFECT MINT CONDITION with no chips, cracks or repairs. This would make an AWESOME addition to any collection and a wonderful true heirloom for years to come.
