Item Description
Large Navajo EAGLE KACHINA DOLL by Artist Pauline Yazzie. Eagle Kachina Dolls are the most spectacular and also the most difficult to carve and assemble.
Artists Roots are from Navajo Reservation in New Mexico
Navajo Kachinas are Handcrafted and Handpainted. No two are alike with regard to Feathers and Clothing. Kachinas are Carved from Aspen Wood, Trimmed with Leather, Fur and Feathers from Non-endangered Animals.
This Kachina Doll is unusually large: Stands 14 1/2" high not including 1 1/4" base and not including head feathers. The total width (feather tip to feather tip) is 26".
