Fantastic rare art nouveau / secessionist claret pitcher / jug manufactured by the world famous WMF company during the jugendstil era around 1900-1906.

The most striking features are certainly the stylish whiplash handles and the wonderful stylised floral and ginkgo berries design intertwined with elegant swirling patterns, with the great handles and thumber you had one very impressive and elegant piece, fully marked to the base with the early WMF ostrich mark.

A large piece measuring 13.8" ( 35 cm) in height so a particularly fine example, the condition is very good, a couple of small dents on base, tiny denting next to main handle
