The listing is for a Large & Heavy Silver Plate Tray measuring 24 3/4 inches in length and 17 inches in width.

The Bordershapeis lovely (Lamerie Design) withShells,theChased surface of the Tray is decorated with Shell and Acanthus leaves with flowers.

This Rococo or Baroque Style tray is is a heavy piece weighing 3.225 grams and with 4 quality button Feet.

The Tray is in very good condition with no were through on the silver plate and has not been monogrammed; however, the tray has only been polished to the point of being able to give a proper condition report and will need a better polish to display at it\'s best.

The bottom of the tray has themark (Eagle in Shield) Postosi Silver Plate on Copper Made in England.

\"Potosi Silver\" from Birmingham England was boughtby Levi &Salaman Ltd in 1878.Potosi silverwith their \"Eagle Mark\" was continued as a subsidiary firm until both Levi & Salaman and Postosi Silver were amalgamated with Barker Brothers (Silversmiths)Ltd. in 1921.
