A beautiful and substantial (2 kg each)pair of bronze double wall lights with lots of decorative detail.
Thelarge backplatesare urn shaped at the top, with a delightful rolled swagged top and fluting. The centre narrows in before widening on the lower half and is richly embossed with more fluting and swags, at the foot is a super decorative finial.
The arms are full of curves and curlicues and further enhanced by feathered plumage along the length. The candle cups at each end have a stunning latticework design on the bottom and the embossed light holders stand proud of these, all come complete with wooden faux candle sleeves.
Inexcellent vintage condition thesesplendidlights are made of high quality solid bronze, which has developed a superb patina and they would enhance any setting with their vintage French appeal.
