Offered is a selection consisting of one vintageSchnapp'sbottle dating between 1860s and 1870s.The bottle is Hand Blown In Mold manufacture style(BIM)withcorktop finish.The lot includes:1)—A 9 3/4" tall, 2 5/8" square, nice yellow-apricot color crude large size bottle, embossed boldly on three panels "Udolpho Wolfe's / Schiedam / Aromatic Schnapps", lot of small bubbles throughout the glass. Nice sloppy fully applied lip.The bottlehas had a coat of oil applied to the inside sometime in the past , there are some discolored areas of dribbling and striations apparently caused by the oil ,outside is shiny.It is one of the colors unique to the Udolpho Wolfe bottles, hard to describe, it appears to be an apricot in the natural light, while artificial brings out the golden yellow.Last picture shows a comparison with an orange amber flask and aqua pepper sauce bottle.There is a 1/4” shallow chip on the bottom left “Aromatic Schnapps” panel, as well as a shallow 1/8” flake on the top of the arch. All embossed panels feature the lazy “S”lettering, leaning to one side.Color is much better and lighter than the cloudy day pictures show.
