Large Steiff Vintage Antique Skunk IDs Mohair 25cm German Collectible 1962 RARE :

Rare,rare,rare! This is Steiff\'s largest sized (25cm) early vintage ,mohair Skunk.
Steiff only produced the mohair vintage skunk in two sizes (10 cm and 25cm)
and while the smaller size can be hard to find this larger 25cm size is rarely
offered. Making this one even more special is the overall excellent condition
and availability of the mohair. It should be mentioned that the lighter once
white mohair has mellowed over the last 60 years into a creamy white but this
happens frequently with these skunks and does not detract from their overall
striking good looks or realism. Fortunately this lucky fellow\'s big tail still stands
very erect and is super fluffy ( also frequently not the case). Even better he has
his raised scripted Steiff button and chest tag. He is still very solidly stuffed with
no sagging or settling in his torso or at where his legs attach to his torso. He is
approximately 9\" Long x 8\" Tall to tip of tail X 4\" Wide across his tail. He actually
has a very cute face enhanced greatly by his rose pink embroidered nose and
mouth. He would be a star in any Steiff or Skunk lover\'s collection and sure to
keep rising in value over the years to come.
