Before I describe this item let me say we have over 15,500 total responses with no negatives (ever) so you can trust our integrity, efficiency and safe packing ability, especially with clocks and other fragile items.
A very fine antique Victorian era solid 9K gold mourning brooch in its original case.
It is 1 1/2" by 1 1/8" and in excellent condition, looking to have never been worn or used.
Its total weight minus the hair container but including its safety chain is 4.8 grams.
It is stamped with an anchor for Birmingham, England, 9 and .375 for its gold content.
The case is marked "J Bull & Co, Goldsmiths, Bedford." and is in slightly worn condition. John Bull still exist and have been Goldsmiths in England since 1817.
Shipping will be free. Combined shipping is automatic where size is not a prohibitive factor.
Any Indiana buyers should be aware that we have to charge a 7% tax on the selling price.
We will leave you a positive response as soon as you pay. We believe that is your part of the transaction completed.
Please do not offer to buy it now from me - this will stay on sale until the highest buyer wins it unless I spot an error in the listing in which case I will relist it the same evening.
We only accept offers from those with a Paypal account - if you have a question about this please contact us.
If we accidentally miss a fault or describe incorrectly, we don't hesitate to refund in full including shipping both ways.
If you have any issues when you receive it, which is highly unlikely, contact us immediately and we will bend over backwards to resolve it to YOUR satisfaction.
This will be shipped the day after payment is received (or even the same day if payment is received early in the day) except on rare occasions when we are away from home which is never more than 2 days at a time. And of course, we cannot ship on a Sunday or post office holiday.
Pickup is acceptable with cash or other financial arrangement required.
