Large Hand Painted Floral Chandelier Non Electrified For Sale

This large Chandelier, SIZE IS ABOUT 30 INCHES TALL,FROM STEM FLOWER CENTER TO STEM FLOWER CENTER 20 INCHES ACROSS,was found at a estate sale some 30 years ago.

SIZE IS APPROXIMATE TO GIVE A IDEA .IT IS LARGER WHEN CONSIDERING FLORAL EXTENSIONS.

IN SIZE DIMENSION THINK OF A CIRCLE WITH A CROSS WHOSE CENTER IS THE CENTER OF THE CHANDELIER AND THE FLOWERS WHERE CANDLE OR LIGHT BULB WOULD BE AT THE FOUR POINTS TOUCHING THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE CIRCLE.IT IS 20 INCHES FROM THESE FOUR POINTS RUNNING THROUGH THE CENTER FROM ONE FLOWER TO THE OTHER .

As questions are being asked i update.The tubes indeed must be hollow to allow for being electrified.That is what they do to these old pieces.I simply found one without that feature.I would discourage it as well.The piece is best as is.It would be your choice however.

I was impressed with the detail and was in my Hippie stage in life smoking alot of reefer and grooving on sixties psyche music

I would place candles in the flowers sit back and groove

Life has changed some and I have no place for this fairly large ornate Chandelier

While researching I noticed similar type pieces listed as TOLEWARE and did a wiki search to define the word

I am unclear if such a item is indeed Toleware.Please judge for yourself if this is so and if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

I just do not know the valuation on the piece and took 12 pictures to help others assess a value and offer accordingly

Some on that appear to be new modern reproductions of these styles have grasped over 200 dollars on .This is not a new or modern reproduction of this style.It belongs to a time far removedfrom todayWhen i found it 30 years ago it was already vintage.To manufacture such a chandelieer today the cost to a consumer would be in the thousands i suspect.Correct me if i am wrong

It comes apart as can be seen in pictures

i do not find any major breaks or missing flowers,stems, petals and cie and cie

BUT it is a wildly detailed and tangled work of art

I suspect these are hand painted.Some chipping can be seen.

Age is uncertain

It has not been electrified.

I tried to picture into one of the flowers.This would show the metal is solid.

Holes would possibly need be drilled to electrify this object.

I will review the piecefor description updates and place them ...post them ...so others may read.

A word on shipping and IMPORTANT: I have not boxed the piece.I feel it may need be placed in two seperate boxes for shipping.

It will also need much packing material and this is not a cheap supply.

Note- since i have not packed the item nor placed it on a scale nor know the exact postal charge based on these factors and your zip code shipping destination...I ask buyers to remain patient untill the end of sale for a perfect ship charge.

I need to do much work to get this chandelier packed and ready for shipping.It will be much work and effort.

I have also noticed that once we go topostal service, regardless of how much detail we place on shipping method( entering these fields in s listing menu) the postal service comes up with another figure.It is always more than what it appears to be on the internet.

Thus when sale is over I will contact you and begin to pack and take thepiece to the postal service for a exact ship rate based on your ship preferences.This may include insurance, tracking, overnote delivery and cie and cie.
