Large Pair French Majolica/faience Cornucopia Vases By St. Clement Pottery,1880 For Sale
Large pair of very decorative Majolica/Faience cornucopia shaped vases. They are marked with a co-joined SC on each bottom. See photo# 3. I believe that they are French and made at the Saint Clement Pottery about 1880. Saint Clement pottery was fond of the cornucopia.
They are about 9 3/4" tall, 7" tall, and3 3/4" wide. They are very colorful. There are no cracks or chips to the body of the vases.. There are four or five very minor areas of tin glaze loss typical of early Majolica/Faience.
