Murano paperweight:76 mm /3inch high

Description:Large old Murano paperweight with a tall dome. Close concentric design with old stylemillefiori canes and a distinct tint to the clear glass. There is a slight uneveness to the top of the dome from manufacture, which you can feel as slight ripples.The cushion is made of coloured glass chips and aventurine. Probably dates to the 1940s -1950s, maybe by Fratelli Toso. Somewhat oval flat polished base with some shelf wear.

Size: diameter2 7/8inch /72 mm; height1 3/4inch /44 mm.

Condition: very good - no chips / bruises.The basehas some 'shelf wear' marks.

The item is located in the UK, but offers are welcome from anywhere in the world.
