A really beautiful and large vintage hand-stitched completed wool tapestry worked on a Penelope printed canvas.
Called \"The Music Room\" this shows a historical lady sat playing the pianola or harpsicord with a mandolin on the side and a King Charles Spaniel in the foreground,.
The stitched section measures approximately 18.5 x 14.5 inches.
This dates from about the 1930s and was framed in a glass fronted fire screen. It comes in beautiful condition to the stitched section with no wear, damage, fading, etc. The canvas is good and sound but has pin rust marks where mounted on frame.
