This is a rather unusual example of a menorah. It has eight sconces along the front for candles, and has a backscreen superbly decorated with two lions flanking an urn supporting a menorah. The base measures 27cm by 8cm, and overall height is 21.2cm. There is a suspension hook to the rear so it can either free stand or hang on a wall. It is marked with the number 6 to the rear, and one foot bears full WMF marks. Some minor plate wear, what appears to be an old file mark across the top as shown, and there is a loop to one side at the rear as though something else should be there, perhaps another sconce to make is a Hanukkah menorah. The candles are shown purely for display, and are not included in the sale.
