I had a question about the signature on this piece so I ran Leinil's name through the comicbook data base for the earliest cover they had listed. Check out Aster The Last Celestial Knight #3 from Cats Studio and you'll see the same stylized "Yu" signature.

Spent a little more time looking into Leinil's signature history. He used this "Yu" through Wolverine #140 July 1999. He used a block "Leinil" for #141 and 142. Starting with #143 is where we see the current single line "Leinil" like we see up to today.
