Lenzkirch Wall Clock W/ornate Copper Face Cherub Design &brass Movement/pendulum For Sale
Lenzkirch Wall Clock w/Ornate Copper Face Cherub Design &Brass Movement/Pendulum
This is a wall clock with a very ornate metal front. We do not know the age or history of this clock. Front appears to be copper. There are a few areas that are punched through (intentionally or unintentionally, it's hard to tell) to reveal the plain piece of silver-tone metal behind the copper. The front of this clock measures approx. 9" tall and 7" wide. There appears to be a signature or something else written in cursive near bottom of clock face, though it could not be deciphered.
Back of clock movement is marked Lenzkirch A&G U 750770. Also comes with a pendulum (total length 8 1/4".) Pendulum is unmarked, though it does appear to have a name written in cursive using a black wax pencil or similar material. The movement in the back of the clock measures approx 3"x2"x4.5". We do not know whether this clock is in working condition. No key is included. Clock shows some overall wear such as scratches.
