Leonard Nez Vintage Royston Turquoise Heavy Sterling Silver Cuff Bracelet Navajo:
This is from my personal collection. I have collected Southwest jewelry since the 1970's. Beautifully hand craftedbracelet. Old signed bracelet by Leonard Nez, Navajo, who has been active since the 1980's as identified by the"Little Book of Marks on Southwestern Silver." Born in the 1960's, Leonard learned silversmithing from his wifeMarion, who comes from a family of silversmiths. He began his career in the 1980's and has won many awards. The Royston Turquoise is set on a foundation of heavygauge sterling silver and is mounted in a shadowbox effect. May be slightly adjustable but it may be difficult because the silver is so heavy and strong. I have hand polishedthe bracelet with a soft polishing cloth. Where you can't reach on the underside you can see that the silver isdark and aged. Sterling will polish to a brilliant shine time aftertime, that is the beauty of sterling silver. Don'tlet the shine belie the fact that this is a vintage bracelet.Never out of style, Southwest jewelry is an investment in enjoyment to last a lifetime.
