Traditionally Shellac Filler Sticks are used to repair holes and cracks prior to French polishing, lacquering or varnishing. To use; melt the shellac stick using either a hot Iron or soldering iron, then run the shellac into the damaged area, allow to harden and remove any excess with a Cabinet scraper or sharp knife then lightly sand with 0000 wire wool for a smooth finish.
