One of the most beautiful vintage French sheets ~Lovely off-white tone ~*~A beautiful vintage French linen and cotton blend sheet that dates c1940\'s~*~ LOVELY dense, smooth weave ~*~ ~*~ This STUNNING sheet is all hand worked in the most amazing monogram ~ the decorative detail extends with GORGEOUS butterflies and ladderwork ~*~The monogram is OL, I believe ?? in white ~ This sheet is a linen and cotton blend, only a very small amount of linen, primarily cotton , lovely heavy , dense weave! ~*~ Lovely ladderwork on one edge ~*~ No center seam ~*~ ~*~~~ this sheet is ideal for slipcovers, upholstery , sheeting , pillows, curtains etc ~*~ ~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~ ~*~(OL B7)
MEASUREMENTS : This wonderful textile measures 79 inches wide by 112 inches long ~ ~ ( the center seam runs the length)
- CONDITION: This sheet is being sold in as found condition for collectors. Very simple to wash! It can be machine washed with a bit of Oxiclean and normal detergent and hung to dry ~ lovely condition with some light storage dirt that will wash beautifully ~*~

It is an art, rather than a science~*~ I have had many years of research and hands on experience with these wonderful textiles. I describe items as Antique if I estimate the age to be 100 years of age or greater. currently define an antique as dating to 1930 or earlier. I describe items as Vintage, as per the dictionary definition, if I feel the textile has age, or is outdated or old-fashioned, dating from the past. If I use both Antique/Vintage when describing a textile, it is because I feel the textile is most likely 100 years of age or greater, but may fall just short of that date. I often work in collaboration with other colleagues and textile specialists to ascertain the approximate age of my textiles, however ultimately any statement of age is a matter of best judgment only~*~I also use my best professional judgment to ascertain the fiber content of my textiles, using sight and feel and where possible historical information and context to help me to identify plants used in a particular era.
