In Stock and Ready to Ship!Here is a Lionel 260E 2-4-2 O Gauge Steam Locomotive and 260T Tender from 1930-34. The engine is complete with all of the copper domes, railing and piping, full compliment of clean driver hardware, headlight, red firebox glow light and brass plates. It has a 3-position E-unit. There are some scratches on the lower cab and the trailing truck is lightly rusted. The tender comes complete with black Type V stamped metal trucks. all 8- copper journals, brass hand railing, brass ladder and clean nickel latch coupler. It has been re painted black without complete surface preparation at spots where the paint peeled off. (see picture) Overall condition of this 70 year old beauty is Very Good . The locomotive and tender bodies have several scratches on the sides and edges. Some paint has chipped around the edges of the frames. This item has been inspected by our Authorized Lionel Service Station. Please see inspection card for details. One drive rod screw is not original, one hand railing section is missing, both boiler flags are missing, and the pilot truck has black spoked wheels instead of the original red. It has been tested and does not run. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is not included. Check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Sold As-Is. Overall condition is Fair.
