This book of the Portuguese school, is a full color reproduction of the Hebrew Lisbon Bible manuscript of 1482.
Published in 1988, by Nahar - Miskal, Te-Aviv
Format: Hardcover, original tooled brown leather binding. Gilt lettering on a cover & spine.Size: ~24 x
30 cm (9½” x 12”)
The book is in very good readable condition, with clean crisp pages. The cover exhibits minor blemishes, rubbed corners and there is evidence of a very minor water damage at base of the spine not affecting pages.
What appears as page toning is actually in the original manuscript.

INSURANCE and CLAIMS
In the event that an item is damaged or lost in shipping, we ask for the cooperation of the buyers in the claims process. And, we respectfully ask that negative response not to be posted for issues beyond our control.
We’ll work with buyers to protect their interest in the claims process, and, we’ll update buyers as we get information from the insurance company.
In general items needed to document claims include, but are not limited to:
1. Copy of invoice/receipt/proof of value.
2. Damage claims:
a. Please describe the damage. If repairs are possible, include the cost of the repair from disinterested 3rd party. If repairs are NOT possible, include the salvage value.
b. Photos and inspection may be required. Retain all packaging material and damaged goods in its original form as received.
3. Shipments sent via the United StatesPostal Service (USPS):
a. If the claim is for a lost package, the Insured must wait 21 calendar days for Domestic shipments or 45 calendar days for International shipments before filing claim with Shipping Insurance.
b. Claim statement/affidavit form signed by the recipient or online claims verification.
c. We’ll send an email requesting what is required.
For a lost package, the affidavit must be signed no earlier than 21 for Domestic shipments or 45 for International shipments days from the shipment date.
a. Claims for loss should show an acceptance scan by the carrier. This shows a package was placed in the mail flow.
*Remember: All packaging material and damaged goods must be kept in the original form as received. The packaging and item(s) shipped must not be sent back to the shipper until a claim is complete.
FAILURE OF THE RECIPIENT TO RETAIN DAMAGED PROPERTY AND PACKAGING AS RECEIVED COULD AFFECT FINAL SETTLEMENT OF THE CLAIM.
