The young girl can be imagined walking around her garden in the earlymorning sunlight exercising her green thumb. Her sundress wraps around her,pulled back by the wind, as her eyes face the ground under her over-sized sunhat. She carries in her right hand a watering can and in the other hand sheholds a potted flower plant. She was cast using the ancient method oflost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation. She ismounted upon a black marble base with the artist Jean Patoue\'s signature.
