PICKUP ONLY!!

You are purchasing (1) 7 gal Chambeyronia hookeri (blonde flamethrower palm) approx 5 feet tall with a very healthy root system. This is great palm for any palm collector. The new leaves that emerge will be a reddish color and slowly fade to green after a couple weeks. All plants are grown at a nursery in Englewood, Florida. You will receive a palm similar to the picture above with 3-4 leaves.

Chambeyronia hookeri is commonly called “Blonde Flamethrower Palm. New leaves emerge bright red, and fade to a shiny dark green after about 10-14 days. This Palm is fairly small which makes it manageable for most gardens; it grows to 20-30 ft tall. The Blonde Flamethrower’s fronds arch very gracefully, and it is self cleaning as an added bonus (do not have to trim)! A well behaved palm in general...The Flamethrower Palm grows well in temperatures that don't get below 28 degrees (cover with freeze cloth if temperature gets into the 30's while small). This palm is best grown in a shady position, as full sun does tend to burn the leaves. The Flamethrower Palm originates in New Caledonian rainforests, where it grows in very moist positions. To grow this palm well, keep it in a moist spot, in very fertile soil. Keep them well mulched, and fertilize regularly with a slow release fertilizer or palm & foliage fertilizer. Add lots of organic matter.

Purchaser will receive directions to our nursery located in englewood, florida. The palm in the picture was taken on June 6th, 2013. All palms look just like the picture above.
