Liver Chestnut Dvd For Cm Breyer, Stone, Horse Resins:
I'm very proud to announce the release of my new instructional DVD called `Creating a Flaxen Liver Chestnut with Pure Pigments'. (You can substitute chalk or soft pastels for the pure pigments)
Run time is approximately 1 hour 20 minutes long (80 minutes total)
Horse shown in ad is the horse in the video. HORSE IS NOT INCLUDED IN sale.
**Before going into all of the details please be aware, this video does NOT go over the white markings done to this horse. I will have a separate video in the next couple of months that will go over all types of white markings (appaloosa, tobiano, overo, sabinos and normal markings). Also, even though Pure Pigments were used in the creation of this horse, pastels can be substituted for the pigments. They both are applied exactly the same way. Colors may vary and it may take more layers with pastels as opposed to pure pigments.
This video is perfect for the beginner and for those that battle grain, sealer problems and more. Many problems occurred during this pony's creation. You get to see those problems AND how to fix them! Problems that occurred and were resolved are:
*Had a darker color in my brush when I went to apply a lighter color. I go over how to subdue/get rid of that darker color (AFTER the sealer was applied).
*Uneven/splotchy application of color and how to fix before you seal.
*Grain issues (what grain looks like, how to resolve it)
*What to do when you spit on your horse
*What to do when your color goes too red/orange (in this case, the flaxen mane and tail)
*What *can* happen if you seal too close. Except instead of normal separation this actually went all the way down to the white coat!
And even after all of those problems, the little bugger still turned out just fine.
Shipping is Free for First Class Parcel Post. If you would like them to go Priority mail it will be an additional $3 (should be able to figure it into your invoice as an option). Payment is expected within 3 DAYS of end of sale.

Please be aware that I had to redo all of the vocals on it during editing. There may be a few times that I make a hand gesture, or you see my mouth move and it doesn’t add up to what’s being said. Have no fear, nothing is wrong with your DVD! It’s just that I had to redo those vocal tracks (to save you all from my ramblings!)
Also, it’s not a big Hollywood production video, but I’ve done my very best to bring you a quality video! Even added Scene Selections to it:)
Here are photos of the horse used in the video.
A little information about who I am (since anyone can make a video ya know!). My name is Jaime Baker and I'm a Customizing artist of horse resins, Breyers and Peter Stones. Many of my pieces have gone on to do quite well at Live Shows and last year two of my pieces got Reserve Champions at NAN. I have been customizing for many years and do my very best to create realistic, high quality pieces. I am also the author of the book 'Prepping, Pastelling, and Polishing the Plastic Pony'. The book edition has been closed for almost a year and I am now focusing on instructional DVDs. I plan on having many more available throughout the year on other colors and various customizing techniques.
