Lof 36 Vtg Sylvania Fluorescent Christmas Light Bulbs Round Party Flourescent C7 For Sale
I am offeringa lot of 36 vintage Sylvania fluorescent bulbs from an estate sale. There are approximately10 blue, 9 coral, 8 green, 7 orchid, and 2 yellow. The bulbs all work, but some are not as bright as the others. In particular, there are 2 or 3 blue bulbs that you might consider to be too dim for use. Most or all of the others should be good. The base is slightly loose on a few, but none of them have detached from the base or are so loose that you can't screw them in. A few could stand to be cleaned. These bulbs are about 65 years old and they are fragile, so I am not making any guarantees about them. They are sold "as is" with no warranty against failure during use.
The cords are probably not original and I will not mail them unless you want them. If you do, send me a note along with payment so I know. Otherwise I will not ship the cords.
The shipping cost stated above applies to sales in the continental US only. Shipping to AK, HI, and US territories will generally be slightly more. Email me for details.I do not ship internationally.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND TERMS OF SALE:
"Why does shipping cost so much?"
Please note that I do not make money on the shipping charges. I attempt to charge only the actual shipping cost that I pay to and the US Postal Servicewhen I ship an item. However, shipping cost varies based on the location of the sender and recipient. Therefore, I have to estimate unless I am using a Flat Rate box. This means thatsometimes I come out ahead a dollar or two and sometimes I lose a dollar or two. On average, my shipping estimates are accurate to within 5% of the actualcost. If you feel that the actual cost to ship to you will be significantly less, please contact me with your ZIP code and I will double check.
"What do you mean I don't have a confirmed address? I've lived here for years!"
You MUST have a PayPal confirmed address. If you do not have a confirmed address you must confirm your address with PayPal prior to shipping. I use delivery confirmation for all items.
"Will I have to sign for the package?"
I use delivery confirmation for all items. Items that sell for more than $250 will ship with signature confirmation - this means you will have to sign for the package or pick it up at the local post office. These are PayPal requirements. Delivery confirmation and signature confirmation will be considered proof of delivery.
"What forms of payment do you accept? Can I pay with a money ord-r, lottery tickets, or postage stamps?"
PayPal only please. I do not accept checks or money ord-rs because they require me to make a trip to the bank and then call to verify that the check or moneyord-r has cleared. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can log in as a guest and make a credit card payment. If you don't have a credit card, you shouldthink about getting one - they're really convenient!
"The USPS tracking information you sent me is no good. I'm calling the police!"
Relax. USPS tracking information often lags by several days. In fact, sometimes the item is delivered before any information is posted online. Lastly, sometimes packages are not scanned into the system until then get to a sorting facility. This may occur up to several days after I drop it at the post office.
"I clicked "Buy It Now" but I no longer want the item. What should I do?"
Please contact me ASAP. I am a reasonable person and I will generally cancel a sale at your request if the item has not yet shipped. Please try to keep this to a minimum as it is a hassle.
"I have a question/complaint/issue following the sale. What should I do?"
If you have questions or need assistance after the sale, please contact me via the messaging system only. Please do not email me directly as I do not expect messages in my inbox and I will likely delete the message as spam.
"Do you combine shipping?"
Yes, whenever two or more items can be safely placed in one box. If you have purchased multiple items from me do not pay until I send the invoice. If you pay before I send the invoice I will not be able to combine shipping as will not allow me to print a single shipping label for two items. Otherwise I will be happy to combine shipping if the items can be safely packaged together.
"How long will it take to get my item?"
I generally ship within two business days of payment. If you pay by e-check through PayPal, I will ship after the check clears - this can take up to 7 days. I ship items that weigh less than 13 ounces packed by First Class Mail - this takes about 3 business days. I ship larger items by Priority Mail (3 business days) or Parcel Post (3-9 business days) depending on cost and location. Generally I choose Parcel Post to keep the cost down on large, heavy items and/or items that are shipping to locations that are far from Chicago (e.g. west coast, east coast).
is my hobby, not my job. Sometimes things come up that prevent me from shipping within 2 business days. In these cases I will ship as soon as possible. Please be understanding and refrain from sending me all caps emails two days after payment demanding to know where your item is.
"Can I use part WXQ387475 with model WXC48985?"
Generally, when I sell a part of something, I do not know which models it is compatible with. Your best bet is to contact the manufacturer or look it up with Google. Ultimately, it is your responsibility to choose the correct item.
"I live close to you. Can I come pick up my widget?"
Sorry, I am not available for local pickup. The only exceptions to this are certain large and high-priced items -- for these items I will clearly state thelocal pickup option in the listing.
"Please pack the item carefully!"
No worries, I always do.I generally use clean "recycled" (i.e. used) boxes and packing materials. This saves both of us money and it is environmentally responsible. Please do not be upset if the shipping box is used or the itemis packed with newspaper, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or other packing materials as needed. I wrap delicate or "scratchable" items in plastic and pad all items well. I almost never ship boxed item in the retail box alone.
"I don't want my item anymore. Can I return it?"
Most items sell may be returned in unaltered condition within 7 days of delivery if you are not satisfied for any reason. Buyer pays shipping both ways in theevent of a return, so please be sure you want the item.All returns must be received in unaltered condition (e.g. unused, sealed in package, etc.). Some items may be marked to prevent switch-and-return fraud.
Items that are listed as "as is" or "for parts" are not returnable, even if you find a flaw with the item that I did not discover. Large lots of items are generally not returnable.I generally do not give partial refunds.
"I'm really upset about the thing I bought!"
Please contact me prior to leaving response of there is a problem. is my hobby and I am not an expert on any of the items that I sell. However, Iattempt to test items whenever possible and describe them honestly in the listings. I never intentionally conceal a defect.
"Why haven't you left response for me?"
I generally leave response 2-4 times per month. You do not need to email me to remind me.
