Long, Celery Tray In Pine Cone Pattern By Wendell August Forge For Sale
This tray is over 17" long by about 5 1/2" wide. Pine cone pattern. Stamped #543 with WAF mark on the back. Over the next week I will be selling a collection of about 25 hammered aluminum lots (several items in some lots) that I've had for 20 years. The collection includes WAF, Everlast, Kensington, Canterbury Arts and other makers. Where relevant I have referenced the page number from Dannie Woodard's books"Hammered Aluminum - Hand Wrought Collectibles"(book 1, 1983 and book 2, 1993) where the item is illustrated. I recommend these books as definitive sources for any collector of aluminum. Generally, the condition of the collection is as you'd expect after a long time in storage: dusty, the odd,old sticker and all items could do with a clean. I will point out specific condition issues but please ask before offerding if you have condition questions. I will combine shipping for multiple lots, just let me know that you intend to offer on another item.
