Lot 164 - Early 1950s Preston Monongye Hopi Silver Overlay Pendant & Necklace You are offerding on a fantastic 1 1/4" wide Hopi silver overlay bear pendant ( that can also be worn as a pin ) that was made by Preston Monongye in the early 1950s. This pendant is strung on a 24 1/4" long x 1/4" wide silver bead necklace. The round silver beads are just over 1/8" wide and the long silver beads are 1/2" long x 1/4" wide. This necklace is in great shape, weighs 27 grams ( the pendant weighs 10 grams by itself ), tests as coin silver or higher and the pendant is marked with Monongye's hallmark ( used roughly 1950-1955 ).PLEASE SEE MY OTHER sales FOR ADDITIONAL PIECES OF NATIVE AMERICAN JEWELRY FROM THIS COLLECTION!
