What is KHADI
The term khādī, Nastaliq: کھادی) or
khaddar (Devnagri: खद्दर, Nastaliq: کھدّر) means cotton. khādī is Indian
handspun and hand-woven cloth. The raw materials may be cotton, silk, or
wool, which are spun into threads on a spinning wheel called a charkha.
It is a versatile fabric, cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Peasants and artisans in pre-industrial India always wore Khadi that had
been made from locally grown Organic cotton, harvested by local
labourers, spun into yarn by their womenfolk and woven into cloth by men
from various specialist weaving castes. The precise technology involved
in the production of Khadi would vary from region to region, as would
the techniques used for its decoration (dyeing, embroidery, printing
etc)
Khadi and Fashion
Many Indian fashion designers believe that Khadi is India’s answer
to Egyptian cotton and linen. It falls well and becomes second skin
after two washes. It breathes, it has a self-texture. It has been
blended with denim, wool, polyester and silk with good results.
Earlier this decade, designer Rohit Bal was responsible for the revival
of Khadi and its prominence in Indian fashion. Today, most Indian
designers of repute like Anju Modi, Sangita Singh Kathiwada, Deepika
Govind and Wendell Rodericks to name a few, have used Khadi in their
collections.

International shipping takes around 5-6 business days, but shipping time depends on many factors and we cannot guarantee the same.
Most of our items are directly shipped from India and hence might take longer for delivery. However, you will receive item within specified duration. Time to time, we try to bring bulk of items and ship them locally. Hence, shipping cost in those cases would be less.

Returns & Refunds
You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from delivery. You must notify us by phone or email of your intention to cancel within 7 working days from delivery. When returning a item(s) please send a copy of the invoice and quick note of the problem.
Goods must be returned 'AS SOLD' in the original packaging complete 'AS NEW'.
Goods must be complete, unused, and in 'AS NEW' condition (eg if you have opened the box to examine the product it must have been done so without damaging the box and packaging or damaging the product in any way) and must be re-packaged as received.
Goods must be returned to our Returns Department within 7 days from authorization. We are unable to accept returns of un-wanted and non-faulty items after the 7 days.
Any 'FREE GIFTS' with the products must also be returned.
Note: You must organise the return the unwanted items at your expense and risk. The returns authorisation is valid for up to 7 days only. Goods sent back without prior returns authorisation will be returned back to you and the cost of delivery charged to you.
Full refund of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and the refund authorised only after a full inspection of the goods by our Returns department to check for completeness and correct product return.
Goods received back complete as NEW and unused and in original box and packaging including all accessories and in a re-sellable condition: You will be refunded the full invoice amount less cost of delivery
Goods received back not in a re-sellable condition: We are unable to accept these back under the above terms and the goods will be returned back to you and the cost of delivery charged to you.
