Three Beautiful Antique Classics:
The Little Minister by J.M. Barrie, copyright 1898, by H.M. Caldwell Company. This is Barrie's best work, a fictional story about the village of Thrums, resembling Barrie's home town of Kirriemuir and the young Scottish pastor who falls in with an educated, radiant gypsy girl. This book is the Sarony Illustrated Edition, illustrated from scenes in the drama of "The Little Minister", by photographs from life of Maude Adams, Robert Edeson, and other members of the company, by Sarony. This is a copy from 1898 and has sustained some wear as would be expected for a book of this age. The first page of the table of contents is detatched but the other pages are intact. The first few pages are detatched at the bottom but attached at the top. This book has a beautiful green cloth on top of the hardcover.
The Blue Window by Temple Bailey, copyright August 1926 (fifth edition), by Grosset & Dunlap Publishers, New Yok. Temple Bailey, American author wrote The Blue Window, a story 1926. Temple Bailey was an American novelist and short-story writer. The Blue Window begins: Hildegarde had always known that her mother was different from the others, but she had not known why. She had thought it might be because, before her father died, her mother had had an easy time. And Aunt Catherine and Aunt Olivia had never had an easy time. They had worked hard, as girls, on the farm, and they worked hard now. Aunt Olivia, to be sure, had been married, but she had worked hard for her husband, and when he left her a widow, she made her home with Aunt Catherine and kept on working. This is a copy from August 1926 (fifth printing). It has sustained some wear as would be expected. The front blue cover has a fading on the top right corner, writing (owner's name and two dates) inside the front cover. The pages are yellowed from age and corners worn a little. Back cover, spine, cornes, and edges have some fading. A few small stains on back cover and edges of pages.The spine is intact.

Christie Johnstone is an 1853 romantic drama novel by the British writerand itfollows the adventures of the young and wealthy aristocrat Viscount Ipsden who falls in love with a woman named Christie Johnstone. This hardcover book has beautiful red detail on blue cloth. Its cover, spine, and edges have some wear. It is yellowed with age and has darkened page edges.The back cover has a stain. Inside the front cover is a handwritten name. The spine is intact.
