Lot Of (24) Civil War Era Paper Letters 3 Cent Washington Stamp Rose Pink Grills For Sale
You are offerding on a huge lot of 24 civil war era letters written mostly to a Frank Daily from Lowell Massachusetts mostly all sent from Winthrop Maine and marble head. There are two other letters written to a Mrs Laura Whiting from Shirley Mississippi. These are family letters from brothers, sisters and friends. I do have more of his letters I am selling in another lot from his time in the civil war with his Maine regiment. There could be talks of war in these letter as i did not have time to go through them all. The stamps could alone be the real treasure they are all scotts # 64-66 3 cent Washington stamps, There are some with grills and without but its hard for me to tell if they are rare or not, also there are some that take on pink, rose pink and rose colors, could even be a rare lake or pigeon blood pink in there, just not a collector of them enough to really know. The envelopes pretty much all are full with letters, there is one maybe two in there without a letter but they are mainly all full and looking to be read and find out the story of this man.
