Every September, the Historical Society of Plymouth Michigan has a weekend of fund-raising events designed to keep the town's museum operating. Magnificent items that have been used by the museum curator or previously displayed, are offered for the live sale or tag sale.
This is mentioned incase interested buyers wish to confirm description details of this sale listing.
I am pleased to offer several lots of vintage sewing patterns. I purchased over 1900+ patterns at the Museum sale during the last 2 Septembers and have listed several hundred so far. The time it has taken to count the contents of each envelope & each pattern piece requires more time than I can give right now. But I don't believe it is acceptable enough to just throw a bunch of patterns envelopes in a lot together and describe the listing "as is."
I would not feel good about offerding on a listing described as such, and I shouldn't expect someone else to either. With all this to consider, I thought it fair and appropriate to randomly choose every 3rd or 4th pattern envelope to count it's contents. If I come across pattern envelopes that are incomplete, I do remove them from the collection. Please understand that I am not able to go through each envelope and therefore, this collection is being sold just as I described in all the details above.
Many are complete, some uncut and many, still factory-folded. But I must state it is likely that there are some envelopes and patterns that may not be complete.
Please re-read the details and description carefully in order to offer with understanding and confidence.
RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED ON VINTAGE SEWING PATTERNS.
