These photos come out of a small collection of correspondance of a missionary of SCHEUT ( Belgian Catholic mission )
The correspondance is mostly between ANTOON SCHOTTE & LAPLANCHE JOSPEH
Father ANTOON SCHOTTE a missionary of Scheut was the founder of THE HOLY SPIRIT CHURCH
He was born in Belgium in 1905 .
Became a missionary in China for 22 years , after being expelled by the Communists , he went to Congo for 6 years .
In 1958 He moved to Singapore , where he founded the Holy Spirit Parish at Upper Thomson Road in 1960 .
