A group of five (5) antique Scandinavian silver spoons, most are marked for the silver content and some marked with the maker.

One spoon is unmarked, but is exactly the same as another spoon that does have silver marks (see photos).

May originate from Denmark - Danish / Sweden - Swedish / Norway - Norwegian.

Circa Early 20th Century. SIZE:

Short Hammered Spoon: Length - 6" Bowl Width - 1.5" / Longest Spoon Length - 8.5"

Weight (whole set) - 206 grams All of these spoons are antique and in good used condition. They are all decorated with beautiful patterns or engraving. One has initials on the front of the handle and two have a name on the back of the handle.

Four of the spoons seem to be serving spoons or large soup spoons. One spoon is smaller and may be a sugar scoop or condiment serving spoon. That spoon has beautiful hammerwork or hammered decoration and is smaller than the rest. It is in the Arts and Crafts style and is fully hallmarked as to maker, etc.

All of the pieces are in good antique condition with only slight wear.A helpful seller has sent me this information:

"Your spoons are all NORWEGIAN/NORWAY and two at least are DOVRE pattern made by Th Marthinsen in Tønsberg Norway circa 1927-1930's and ROSE (also called FLAT ROSE) 1920-1930's by MARTHINSEN etc etc...830S is silvermark for Norway and one is made by GUSTAV HELLSTRØM in STAVANGER Norway.
