Lever Filler – The pen is in working condition and has been fitted with a new
sac.
For sale today I have this lovely rare Waterman’s number 55 fountain pen.
The model number as stamped on the base of the barrel is 55. The pen is one of
the earlier Waterman’s pens and has a strange mottled vulcanite patterning
compared to many others I have owned. The pen is in good overall condition and
is free from nay splits or cracks. The trim is gold plated but does show quite
considerable amounts of plating loss on the clip and lever mainly. The imprints
on the pen are clear and easily visible.
The imprint on the barrel reads:

The nib on the pen is rather special and very rare too. It is a number 5 large
sized Waterman’s Manifold tip. It is in good condition and marked as follows:

The pen comes housed in a nice Waterman’s box. The box is in rather worn
condition.
