A unique collection of vintage items and collectables presented in a vintage wooden letterpress typesetters tray/cabinet drawer.I like to think of my creations as mini works of art presented in compartments.They look great hung on the wall (or as a lean-to) in both contemporary interiors or period properties.Afters decades of collecting old \"little vintage things\" I\'m producing a series of these - each unique and never to be repeated.

This tray has great patination and character - it\'s been cleaned up and waxed but retains it\'s used condition.
A great unique and one off Vintage Present! - even space to hang a small item of jewellery.
A really nice example of a printers letterpress tray originally used to hold metal individual letters used in the traditional letterpress printing process.
These type cases, in various forms, were manufactured from around 1890\'s to the 1960\'s and some very niche printers still use them.
Really well made to hold the heavy metal characters with nice box joints (finger joints) at the corners.Lovely brass intersecting corner supports.
It makes a great display or decorators piece and as I\'ve done can be filled with collectables and interesting items,all of which I\'m including in the sale - a great start for a collection or perfect as a decorators piece as it is.Most are stuck down but some are loose - they remain in the tray when upright on the wall though, as can be seen.
The size of this small type case/display cabinet is 36.5cm wide by 28.5cm high by 3cm thick.
I\'m also including fixings that mean it can be hung flat on the wall - as pictured
I will post using \'Royal Mail 2nd Class Small Parcel\' for £2.80 and get proof of posting.
On the packing front I wrap the tray in cling film and then put cardboardover each of the front three main compartments and tape secure (this keeps the items in place in the individual compartments).
It is then wrapped in bubble wrap and brown tape.
