Lovely Vintage Retro Chribska Green & Amber Glass Vase 1960s Josef Hospodka Sklo For Sale

You are invited to offer on this lovelyvintage retro hand blown amber & green abstract glass vase, made in Czechoslovakia by Chribska, and designed by Josef Hospodkain approximately the 1960s/70s. The vase is made of thick amber and green glass with a clear Sommerso style glass casing. The vase is formed of thick twisted bands of glass with deep grooves between. The foot of the vase is quite slim and elegant, rising to a chunky upper body with rounded opening at the top.

The vasestands 8.5"tall. It is in greatcondition with no cracks or chips. There is minor scuffing and scratching to thebase, commensurate with its age. The vase bears no maker's marks, but this is a recognised Josef Hospodka design for Chribska. Hospodka was a member of the SkLO Union, a collaborative group of artists producing avant garde style in Czechoslovakia.

A beautiful piece of abstract Czech design and a lovelypiece of vintageglass.
