LUCY DAWSON\"S DOG BOOK by Lucy Dawson. 1st Edition published in 1939. Book cover is in bad shape. It\'s discolored and smells musty. Inside pages are intact with just a few marks on the pages. Spine has separated a little with a few pages.
Illustrated with 9 colored plates showing 15 dog studies in color. includinga frontispiece of \"Dookie\", the Royal Family\'s Corgi. Many black andwhite drawings.London: Collins, 1939. First Edition. 101 pages, Browncloth with silver gilt lettering to spine.
EXAMPLE OF CONTENTS:Dog Film Stars,Bustles Puppies,Irish wolfhounds,LondonsSheepdogs,Floppy books cover is brown cloth boards with silver title writing. It has some water marking and is a bit dusty, smells like an old book. There is some light fox spots to the endpapers andinnerboards but nothing major. The book is well illustrated with black andwhite drawings and fifteen Dog Studies in Color (see pictures). There are 91text pages. The odd page has the odd light fox spot but all the pages anddrawings are mostly in good condition. This is a very Rare and Scarce book andis hard to find. Beautiful drawings done by the well known artist Lucy Dawson.
