German Porcelain Figurine Group Karl Eugen Period c.1758 - 1793Description:
A rare and impressive figure group from Ludwigsburg depicting two couples wearing period dress holdings fruit and other implements. They are sat around the central monument with baskets of grapes, bottles and flowers besides their feet. The mark denotes this figure is mid to late 18th century with embossed mark '2PCM' and several vent holes. It measures 6" (15cm tall) by 5.75" (14cm wide).
The figure is at least 220 years old and has suffered some damage during this time. The monument top has been cracked and repaired. One of the mans fingers has been restored (green coat). There are some small nicks in places (see all pictures).

Payment is expected within four days of the listing ending. I accept payment by Cheque and Postal Order but will wait for the funds to clear before dispatching an item.
