M 3 Utica Guard Marked Fighting Knife M 8 Scabbard. It Is In Good Condition...nr For Sale
M 3 Utica Guard Marked Fighting Knife M 8 Scabbard. It is in good condition. Handle is nice, all original and it is all tight. The cross guard has movement about a 1/8 inch but not too bad. The pommel is tight and bomb marked. Blade has some wear and sharpening, but not too bad and not too much finish left on the blade but it is still nice. Scabbard is also in good condition , marked M8 B.M. CO. It is the correct type three paratrooper scabbard, has been re-painted but looks good. They only made these knifes for two years, 1943-1944 and by 1944 they marked the guards only. This knife is a good example and a great re-enactors knife. Very nice A must for the gun, rifle, pistol, equipment, edged weapon, bayonet, knife, sword, saber, dagger, stiletto, machete, infantry, army, airborne, cavalry collector.
