M43 Uniform Wwii Paratrooper Jump Suit Repro Uniform 82nd Airborne Normandy For Sale
I used this WWII Impressions jump suit for a parachute demonstration in Ste Mere Eglise in 2004, so it's earned it's stripes. This outstanding reproduction of a M43 jump suit is for living history, appropriate for Normandy 1944, although there are accounts by the veterans that they wore them throughout the war since they were so loved. The knees, elbows, and pockets are reinforced, as done by riggers before the big jump. It also has the leg straps for securing the big cargo pockets. This material is denser and heavier than the typical reproduction uniforms by other manufacturers. The other repro uniformsare also too "brown" in my opinion. This one is the proper shade of OD green. I think WWII Impressions does the best job with a repro WWII uniform, especially this one. I am 5'-6" 165 lbs and it fits perfect. I am guessing the waist is about a 32" and the chest is 42".
