DESCRIPTION : A fine and stunning17th / 18th century Kangxi period antique Chinese blue and whiteporcelain charger, the impressive dish well potted and painted around the central body with a large lotus bloom within double circles, surrounded by a band of interlocking motif and four floweringbranches (being flowers of the four season), reverse decorated with three fruiting sprays, base glazed white and bearing a leaf mark within blue circles, the unglazed double foot rim displaying the dense smooth paste characteristic of the Kangxi period.

AGE : Chinese, early Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (1662 - 1722). ***Guaranteed Authentic***

MARK : underglazed-blue leaf mark within double circles on base.

DIMENSION : approximately 13 3/4" (35 cm) diameter.

CONDITION: inexcellent condition; glaze wear and abrasions; typical glaze fritting all around the top rim and outer foot rim; some tiny production blemishesonly. No otherdamage or repair noted.
