Marshall Fields ~lady~ Sterling Silver Hand Mirror Antique Victorian Nouveau For Sale
Offered for sale is a gorgeous, original antique sterling silver hand mirror from the Art Nouveau era. The mirror was made by Marshall Fields, and these dresser items seem to be harder to come by. The front features a beautiful young lady with long flowing hair, picking a calla lily. The detail is reallystunning. It is such an amazing, gorgeous mirror!! The hand mirror measures 8 1/2" long and 4 3/4" wide. The handle of the mirror is clearly marked "Sterling" with with the Marshall Fields hallmark. There is no monogram. The sterling exterior is in overall good condition. There are some expected dings around the side edge of the mirror, which can be seen in the pictures. There are no splits, holes or repairs. The original, beveled mirror itself is in overall great condition. This is a very beautiful and rare dresser item from the Art Nouveau period. Thank you for looking.
