For your consideration I am offering this magnificent 12" long tin friction powered 1951 Cadillac Series 62 four door sedan made by Marusan Kosuge ( SAN ) of Japanin the early 1950s. One of the most preeminent tinplate toy cars ever, the gorgeous example shown here is exceptionally clean and inexcellent 100% original condition with all parts intact. It has a strong friction motor as well. The original jet black finish on this car is mirror smooth with a wonderful deep wet look luster. There are no dents or dings. A bit of older touch up can be seen, mostly to left rear roof area. Chrome trim all shines brilliantly with just some minor age tarnish showing in spots. Red finish on tail lights show some wear. The car is a highly detailed and very realistic toy with intricate authentic hood and trunk emblems. Thisunique model has amber headlights and clear front turn signals as opposed to the more common clear headlights and amber turn signals. Original plastic window glass is crystal clear with no cracks, breaks, scratches or shrinkage. Both windows are still firmly attached. Glossy black basehas just minor age wear.Spiral geared friction motor runs like new; long, strong, and smooth. Realistic rubber tires are allpristine with no cracks or flat spots.Left rear drive tire has just a bit of wear on tread. The others are all flawless. Whitewalls all look superb but right rear has a bit ofolder touch up.Please remember, I super size all my photos which may greatly emphasize any minor flaw. This is to make sure all buyers are aware of any issue, but do not be mislead, the car looks absolutely outstanding in person I can assure you. I am a collector as well as a dealer, and many times have been chagrined to open a box and find a rare vintage toy broken en route. Not due to postal misuse, but bypoor and insensitivewrapping. You will not receive toys packed like this from me. All my items are thoughtfullyand carefully packed as though I would be mailing them to myself. Prices are set by size and weight.USPS Priority Mail dimensional weight rates will now apply for certain large packages shipped to select zones within the U.S. Priority Mail can be very expensive with an oversize package, as many of my toys require, thereforefor those larger items I use Parcel Post which is just as safe and almost as fast.
