MARUSAN KOSUGE Tin Friction 1952 Ford Sedan 10" Excellent
PLEASE READCOMPLETE DESCRIPTION AND VIEW PHOTOS CLOSELY BEFORE offerDING:
Shown here is a 10.25" long tin friction powered 1952 Ford Customline 2 door sedan made by Marusan Kosuge of Japan in the early 1950s. The car is simply stunning. It is clean as new, and in excellent 100% original condition with all parts intact. It has a strong friction motor with motor sound as well. Themidnight blackfinish has a fantastic luster which is mirror smooth with no dents or dings. There is some minor box rub to the roof and a couple minor scuffs and age marks but I am being particularly critical as the car really does look pristine. Chrome trim and hubcaps all have a brilliant shine, with no tarnish or corrosion. Front bumper has one tiny pin point ding. Plastic window "glass"is crystal clear with no cracks, breaks or shrinkage and still firmly attached.Glossy black chassis has hardly any wear. Rubber treaded tires are allflawless shape with no cracks or flat spots. Attractive tri tone hubcaps look magnificent. Friction motor runs like new; long and strong with an awesome motor noise sound box.Not too well known is the fact that Marusan made this car about the same time as their very popular 1951 Cadillac, and both cars share the same rear license plate. This very desirable tinplate toy car would be a magnificent investment grade tinplate tin car, made especially enticing with a low, low starting offer and .......as always.
Last photo is depiction of similar car for reference from the Big Book Of Tin Toy Cars by Ron Smith and Bill Gallagher.

Delivery confirmation is included on every domestic shipment to insure the package arrives at it's destination. Priority airmail is used for most international shipments because of safer handling and tracking number although first class postage is available. Shipping charges are fixed as is shipping method.A slight handling charge is built in to cover shipping room costs and help. I do not skimp on packing. I am a collector as well as a dealer, and many times have been chagrined to open a box and find a rare vintage toy broken en route. Not due to postal misuse, but bypoor and insensitivewrapping. You will not receive toys packed like this from me. All my items are thoughtfullyand carefully packed as though I would be mailing them to myself. Prices are set by size and weight.USPS Priority Mail dimensional weight rates now apply for certain large packages shipped to select zones within the U.S. Priority Mail can be very expensive with an oversize package, as many of my toys require, thereforefor those larger items I use Parcel Post which is just as safe and almost as fast. Please email any concerns before leaving response, and I will do my best to accommodate you.
Items won are mailed the day after payment is made unless of postal holiday or some unforeseen circumstance prevents shipment.
