~~ Offering a hen Blue-winged Teal hen duck decoy by the Mason Decoy Factory. This gunning rig decoy is Standard Grade or \"Detroit\" glass eye lure. The body length is 10 1/2\" and overall length tip bill to tip of tail is 12 1/2\". The bottom is hot branded \"CHADBOURN\". The \"CHADBOURN\" brand was earlier found on a Mason Canvasback decoy that was sold by Guyette and Schmidt
in April 1999, Lot 144. The decoy retains the original gunner applied strip lead ballast and screw eye for the anchor line. Approximately 30% of the original neck filler remains. The perky head attitude of this hen shows why this style of Mason teal remains so popular!
~~ The decoy remains in very dry unrestored original paint. There is an exposed knot in the backand some filler has fallen out in that area. There are some small age lines in the back, on the left side through the speculum and on the bottom. Please view photos carefully as I have tried to show all condition issues.
