Vintage metal Art Deco styled pelican pipe rest, cigar holder or ashtray based on French Art Deco artist Max Le Verrier\'s famous \"Pelican\" sculpture from the early 1920\'s. This open mouthed Pelican is cast in metal with a bronze finish, andsculpted in a 1920\'s cubist style with simple yet striking geometric facets. Itstands just over 6\" tall by 4.5\" across on a 2.5\" diameter round base covered in a brown leather-like cardboard. Its open bill can hold a pipe, a cigar, ashes, or trinkets.
