Massive 19th Century Rail Road Station Eave Bracket 7':
I've had two similar yet not nearly as nice 19th century victorian gingerbread eave brackets from a rail road station in the past - these pieces are the real deal!
Awesome detail, size & patina!
Measures 7' long on one side and 6' 6" on the other - is 2.75" thick on braces and as wide as 5" where molding is built-up around the finial drops!
Is nearly devoid of all paint - nice weathered gray patina - some minor chipping - otherwise solid & structurally sound!
These have been in storage for over 20 years - and were bought in central NY state in the mid 1980's- they are believed to come out of the same region, possibly Syracuse area!
The first picture shows TWO brackets together in the form of a gable peak or pediment (and subsuquent pictures show more pieces) - your offer is for ONE (1) bracket.
Would look great used on a barn project or even interior art work hung as a triangle pediment over a fireplace, bed or doorway!
This is a SUPER piece of 1875-1882 vintage salvage!
Will need to ship with our delivery man - east coast would be about $175 for one, and west coast - maybe 225! Can be picked up in the Hartford CT region! Will also bring to Brimfield if you'll be traveling there!
We also offer layaway.
We now have a warehouse - showroom open in TOLLAND, CT - email for hours and directions!
