This lantern slide is in delicate shape, does work, but needs some repair or a new wood frame. Right now the rubber band is tight around the right side where the wood separated. Its possible to wood glue that side i'd think. The only other thing needed would be some flat head screws for the top brass ring. All 3 glass discs inside are fine with no cracks. If you had just another wood frame it would be an easy swap as well. Also on these types of handles, there needs to be a bent over nail or tiny metal shield to go over the bar from the handle to hold it in the frame. It looks really nice when turned! This is a work in progress though as it is in delicate shape & need of repair even though I am playing with it as i list this sale. ?'s please ask.
